Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) incorporates the use of medication in addition to services such as counseling, cognitive behavioral therapies, and recovery support, to provide a comprehensive approach to the treatment of substance use disorders. MAT has been shown to stabilize physical cravings, as well as control behaviors that may lead to relapse. MAT offers an additional tool to support recovery.

We believe that those desiring to be free of substances should be educated in the full range of treatment options relevant to their specific needs. Access to treatment options for substance use disorders, including MAT is a priority for us.

We have designed our outpatient treatment program to offer evidenced-based MAT approaches including the use of Suboxone for opioid dependence.

Our on-site physician is licensed to treat those who qualify for this level of care and is  part of the clinic’s COD/SUD treatment team that oversees this program.
