Our SUD goal is to help reduce the unnecessary suffering caused by substance use & addiction. We accomplish this by taking an eclectic approach to treatment using a wide variety of evidenced-based behavioral techniques. These include motivational interviewing & enhancement, Trauma Based therapy, harm reduction strategies & cognitive behavioral therapies. Our substance use disorder (SUD) treatment program is structured to simultaneously provide mental health support.
Rathdrum Counseling Center, LLC, provides SUD services by using several assessment tools (DUI & SUD evaluations, CAAPE-5, & some PSI GAINs for sentencing support. This helps ensure a more accurate assessment of client needs for mental & physical health, recovery environment & lifetime substance use severity. RCC works in partnerships with the Justice system, including court ordered evaluations, for Juvenile & Adult treatment & Recovery Support Services.
Clients who choose to access SUD treatment at Rathdrum Counseling Services, LLC, are assessed during the intake phase & receive a nationally recognized ASAM level of care recommendation for the best treatment outcomes in their recovery.
We accept Magellan Idaho Medicaid, Blue Cross, Blue Cross True Blue, Regence, Pacific Source, AETNA & most other major insurances. Clients are responsible for payment at time of services as insurance is not a guarantee for payment. Most insurances do not cover Substance Use Disorder (SUD) services. Please call your insurance company & be informed about your individual policy coverage, deductibles & co-pays. FYI, RCC is considered to be under the professional co-pay status.
Both the CAAPE-5 and The Global Appraisal of Individual Needs (GAIN-I) assessment are used to ensure a more accurate assessment of client needs, including mental & physical health, recovery environment & lifetime substance use severity.
Utilizing evidenced-based interventions, RCC provides quality and compassionate individual sessions to treat your pathway to recovery. You drive your treatment, we are here to support you all along the way to completion.
This 8-hour content curriculum is offered on individual appointment availability if needed. This can support recommendation outcomes of your evaluation or assessment. Cost is $160, which also includes an hour session with a Mental Health Therapist to review & finalize class content.
Based on the outcome and Level of Care recommendation of the CAPPE-5, SUD assessment or GAIN, RCC offers individual Outpatient and Intensive Out-Patient Service options. Level recommendations are based on national ASAM criteria. The ASAM Criteria is the most widely used & comprehensive set of national standards for placement, continued service & transfer of clients with addiction & co-occurring conditions.
We do step down services from inpatient facilities.
Drug & Alcohol Assessments (SUD)are offered for self referred or court-ordered clients, with recommendations for treatment. Often, these evaluations are for first offenders & can lead to a lower level of service intervention. The cost is $160. These assessments may be arranged to be done for incarcerated clients at facilities. Fee & mileage rate are to be paid in advanced. Staff can arrange to make a professional visit to the facility.
RCC DUI evaluations are based on the Idaho Supreme Court DUI form format. DUI evals are cash or credit/debit card only, with a $75 non-refundable deposit required at the time of appointment. Clients are required to provide their police report & are responsible for providing accurate self report information. Evaluations will not be amended unless there is a documented informational clerical error, or completed & released until police reports are supplied.
